Philadelphia August 11th. 1787.
SIR
Exchange for £ 100 Virga. Curry.
On Sight of this my first Bill of Exchange, second of the same Tenour & Date not paid, Please to pay unto Thomas Fitzsimmonds Esqr. or Order, the Sum of one hundred Pounds Current Money of Virginia, in Specie, for Value of him received in Cash—advanced to me here, as one of the Delegates from the Commonwealth of Virginia—in the Convention of the United States; and charge the same accordingly to the Accout of Sir Your most obdt. Servt.
