Gunston-Hall March 3d. 1786.
DEAR SIR
Being in very great Want of Cash, to pay my Maryland Taxes, I shall take it as a Favour, if you will send me, by the Bearer, my Son William, the Amount of what Snuff has been sold, Deducting 10 P Ct. C'oms. I am Dr. Sir, Your most obdt. Sert.
