Journal Notes of the Pennsylvania Ratification Convention (December 1, 1787)

The Convention met pursuant to adjournment, And resumed the consideration of the first Article of the proposed Constitution. After some debate on the power vested in the President, by and with the consent and advice of two-thirds of the Senate, to make obligatory treaties, and a comparison of this power with the first clause of the first Article, and after some inquiry into the ninth section of the first Article, Adjourned until half after nine o'clock tomorrow, A. M.
